Excerpt from John Grisham, Theodore Boone Abduction by Jack Menghini
“A mile or two away, to the north, were the rows of small whitewashed houses where the river rats lived, and beyond them was the bridge, crawling with police cars. On the other side of the river, close to the bridge, an ambulance was just arriving on the scene. Policemen were in boats; several were in full squab gear. The situation looked tense, almost frantic, as sirens wailed, policeman darted about, and the helicopters hovered low, watching everything. Something had been found.”
My thoughts- I like John Grisham books because they give you clues that might be very well needed and that just don't matter so even the smallest of things you read could mean and bring up a whole lotta knew thoughts.
Also, it can make me feel as if I am Theo since both my parents are lawyers and they do similar things it makes me think as if it were my problem.
As well as, every chapter you read even the first couple are vital to the story. Even though the chapters aren't that long. If you don't read one of the chapters it doesn't matter which one you will be confused for a long time no matter what.
